Colombia La Rezerva (Honey)
Bratespresso Colombia La Reserva is made from select Arabica beans grown on the high-altitude La Reserva farm in the Huila region of Colombia. Fertile soil, tropical climate and hand-harvested fruits give this coffee a unique sweetness and soft body.
This lot was prepared using the honey (semi-washed) processing method. The outer shell of the coffee fruit is removed, but the natural honey-like mucilage layer on its surface is left on the bean and dried in the sun. This method gives the coffee the sweetness of honey, red apple, white sugar and tropical fruit, as well as a balanced acidity.
Bratespresso Colombia La Reserva is prepared with a medium roast profile. The balance of sweetness, body and acidity provides optimum performance especially in filter coffee, V60, Chemex and espresso brewing. With its soft taste and honey-like texture, it creates a unique experience when served hot or cold.
